(1) You deserve to be in the HOF but you don't want to wait forever like Carter.  So, you need to go back to where it all started (Minnesota) and announce to the whole world that you made mistakes the last time you were in MN (which you admitted already).  The members of the selection committee will love it!!!  It shows that you are "real" and want to correct mistakes and that you are not all about winning;

(2) Leslie Frazier is in charge now and that idiot Brad Childress is long gone;

(3) You will be reunited with Percy Harvin & Adrian Peterson (they need you);

(4) Vikings are up and coming team.  They have the 3rd pick this year and a lot of picks coming their way overall.  Quarterback Christian Ponder is the real deal and you can make him a superstar.

I have been a Vikings fan my whole life, but we need you back.  You are a superstar, and my Moss jersey is waiting in the closet for your return.

I like to go back in time and history and I did a report on W.V. (how many people will know what that stands for?) in gradeschool and I think it's a great place.

So I have no real reason or right to put up all kinds of comments on here, other than from Minnesota and a big fan of the vikings, but I wasn't that big of one before '98.     

Don't feel bad about your efforts, some people do notice , and then we got to pick up the slack when ohters of us fail.   

I 'got out '  of the U.S. Navy  (don't join I wouldn't recommend that to you ) and have to do something..  (besides writing letters)   I'm 7 years younger than you but i'm probably too old to play football :(.      I'd like it if you could teach me though , but that's again probably completely unrealistic.  

 Maybe you could come back to the M. Vikings , they need a cornerback, maybe you could play cornerback?    

Anyway  I know you're out there somewhere, I'm not begging you to come back to the Vikings, like I said a long time ago they don't deserve to have you on the team (since they traded you twice.)   But like you said that's business and some times change is needed.  

Well I don't like being lost or confused, I'm younger than you ,  and I'll try my best when I get a chance.

man, I wish Randy Moss could give us one more.     I thought he looked great before being treated like a has been,    it's a shame.   IMHO, Randy Moss is top 5 players to ever play in the history of the NFL, and after Jim Brown, you can pick a few more.     Moss made more impossible catches that five of the top guys in the HOF,

I hope his health is alright , ....but selfishly, I'd love to see him one more time.

To not be appreciated after averaging 16 TD;s a season and CARRYING the Pats when they had to play an entire season with a pure green QB in Cassel,....well Moss doesn't get the credit he deserves.'

If he ever lined up vs the Pats, Belichick would have a heart attack!

I've been a fan from the start.  I believe you have left the game abt 2 to 3 years early.  I thought your trip back to NE with the Vikes was a chance to smooth things over and just maybe you'd be back in New England to correct that 2007 let down.  You have the straight cash Homie!  What's up with the so called turned down offer?  Give Mr K a call, We need a WR.........  Get the ring man!  Don't let father time set in those knees.... it don't take but a minute!

Randy, you know the book. The greatest receiver ever to play the game (J. Rice) challenged you to get back in the game. Did he not say that he did not have the skills you had and that he had to try/work harder to reach that level? If there were any issues between the Pats and you prior to your leaving . . . bury them.

I am not looking forward to football this season. I have no team that  I follow. I just follow whatever team you are playing for. The people at  work say I have to move on without  going to watch you every week.  I can't.  Randy, you have to come back.  You have so many fans that love watching your tremendous skills. I would love to see you back with Tom. You guys are so incredible together. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE COME BACK!!!!

Maybe you don't care about how you will be remembered and what your legacy will be.  And if that's how you feel, then that's certainly your prerogative.  As a fan, I support you either way.

Not many people have the chance to go back and right what was wrong.  Randy, you still have that opportunity.  You can be a role model for kids or anyone else who has been counted out, or misunderstood.  You can rise to the occasion like a Phoenix rising from the ashes as a player who became a true team player and who decided to come out of retirement to break numerous records in his final couple seasons of play.

Randy, I challenge you.  I challenge you to prove the world wrong and let us remember you as the best receiver the league has ever seen and that you always had the potential to be.  Money and fame is fine, but in the end, all we have is memories.  Please let the world's memory of Randy Moss's last couple of years of play be one of greatness; not of missed opportunities and dissention!    Go out of the league with style, class and with your legacy being one of respect from your fans and colleagues in the league.  Give your talents and achievements, the lifelong legacy that it deserves! 

There are plenty of teams that are Super Bowl bound that could use your services (Eagles)...  Wishing you peace and happiness in whatever you decide!

I don't know if you will ever read this but I just wanted to let you know how much you are missed. I don't know what you do with your time now that you are retired but seeing stupid ochocinco's face on tv standing next to Tom Brady pisses me off. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure he is a great football player but that is and should have always been your spot. You are football to me.

Nothing in football ever really intrigued me until I saw your first effortless touchdown catch playing with the Patriots. Sure, I would pretend to care every superbowl Sunday when all the boys huddled together to watch the game cuz I didn't want to be stuck with the other girls making superbowl dinner. The choice was easy. Fake the funk. But you were amazing to watch. Your catches seemed so effortless and graceful it was like you weren't really human...some kind of football god in disguise as a regular player. So, I just want to say that if you don't come back and play FOR THE PATRIOTS, football will never ever be the same. We will miss you always.

You are blessed as one of the few, selected, and lucky guys to get paid to play a sport I bet you love too!  If you can play like you say you can and when you want why don't you go for a contract that pays for performance?  Every Team wants to win and if your open you know the ball is coming your way and if it's gonna be a force the QB is gonna go to somebody based on coverage, angle, route and best chance, you can't let your ego get into it. 

 With the Jets you create a double coverage issue, they can't double up everybody.  You are destined to be one of the greatest and how far up on that list is up to you. 

You need to work a deal with numbers, including playing time, attempts to you, performance stats, post season etc. and let the money reflect all.  This is the way to maximize your contract, then step up and make them show you the money, and if they don't play you enough then they show you the money.  WIN baby WIN for you.  You can make an impact with the Jets, look at the guys on that team!  I think you need to be grounded, stop talking to an agent, talk to a business man, it's all math and both ways have to make you the money.  It's a put up or shut up for both parties.  I have faith in you as I am a Jet fan but first and most of all a fan of athletes.  I hope you can think out of the box, like you play out of the box.

 If a team wants you make it two ways to Pay Day!.  If they don't step up and play you, then pay you!  If they play you and they don't pass to you, pay you!, If they do and you perform like you can, and get a clause for an arbitrator, cause if the balls thrown to you suck, they pay you.  If you get the ball and perform they pay you too. If they don't they pay you.  If you pull the coverage and others guys get the ball, they pay you cause you never get the ball. What you do get is the chance to add to your stats, play the great game and get paid!  Its structure and numbers, get a contract that takes into account the numbers, and performance and post season and everything else.  Let them show you the path to the money you deserve.  Love to see the real you and you get the money!  Hope to see ya back, even if not with the Jets.  But I won't lie, if you play the jets I must root for them.  Best  Paul 

I want you to be HAPPY whether you ever play in the NFL again or not.  Ask yourself, "Have I accomplished all I wanted to in the NFL?"  Take some time to think about FOOTBALL and how you feel about the game.  If the game is Your Passion, Your Love, find a way to put all the other STUFF behind you and come back.  If not, then pursue what does excite you and makes you happy.
